Account information: name, email address, phone number, and, for Students, verification details such as proof of identity and proof of relocation or study status.
Booking information: sessions booked, session type, and payment amount.
Payment information: payments are processed by Paystack. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV, or bank login details, only confirmation that a payment succeeded.
Communications: messages you send to our support team.
Usage information: general information about how you interact with the platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account.
To process bookings and payments.
To verify a Student's identity and relocation history.
To communicate with you about your sessions, including confirmations and reminders.
To improve and secure the platform, and respond to support requests.

3. How We Share Your Information

With Students or Users, limited to what's needed to complete a booking.
With Paystack, to process payments.
With service providers who help us run the platform (for example, hosting or scheduling tools), under confidentiality obligations.
Where required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Komot, our Users, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
